The PC version hides a full debug console that lets you spawn any item, warp between floors, and test wild builds in seconds. Add in the game special seeds and you have a whole playground behind the run.
Here is how to switch the console on and the commands worth knowing.
The debug console lives in the PC version only, and it takes a moment to unlock.
First, open the game options.ini file and set EnableDebugConsole to 1.
Second, and this is the step people miss, the console only works when at least one mod is enabled. If you do not run any mods, just enable any small one from the Steam Workshop, or create an empty folder inside your mods directory to satisfy the check.
Once that is done, start a run and press the tilde key, the one above Tab, to open the console at any time.
Type these into the console during a run:

Beyond the console, Isaac has special seeds you type on the seed entry screen before a run begins.
Some make a run far easier, some crank up the difficulty, and some just change how the game looks or sounds. Because the developer adds and tweaks these across updates, the community wiki keeps the definitive, current list, so that is the best place to grab exact seed codes.
The console is a testing tool, so treat it like one.
Some commands can interrupt your run, drop you into invalid rooms, or unlock permanent modifiers you did not intend. Before you go wild, back up your save files. And remember the console needs a mod enabled to appear, which is why this all applies to the PC version rather than console ports.
