Many commands act on a target. Open the console, click on a person or object to select it (its code appears at the top of the screen), then run a command like kill, resurrect, or unlock.
Good news for trophy hunters: unlike some games, the base version of Skyrim doesn’t disable Steam achievements when you use console commands, so you can cheat a little and still look like a hero.
That said, some commands can send quests or saves into full chaos mode, so make a backup before you start playing god. A tiny bit of caution now beats crying over a three hour rollback later.
