Have you ever stood in front of a wall of Hot Wheels displays and thought, “Dude, I could run this place way better?”
Well, Supercar Collection Simulator by Kiki Games lets you put your money (virtual money, of course) where your mouth is. I loaded this up for “just a quick look” and, uh, a few hours later, I was still chasing that elusive chrome-plated dragster.
Here’s the rundown of the gameplay: you buy, sell, and trade miniature supercars, unbox rare models, and transform your dinky store into a collector’s paradise. Every new car series you unlock brings a new set of eye-candy and that ever-tempting shot at the ultra-rare model. And let me tell you—the rush you get when you pop open a mystery box and land something shiny? It’ damn real.
But it’s not just about hoarding cool cars for your virtual shelf either. You’ve gotta make decisions to whether keep that rare gem for yourself, or cash in and fund your next big expansion. I was genuinely surprised how much I agonized over whether to sell or keep that sparkly purple roadster.
Store Management With a Twist
As with most company building games, customization is the name of the game and this one is no different. Seriously, you can go wild with wall colors, plants, shelves—you name it. Managing inventory, hiring staff, paying bills...it all adds up to the satisfying feeling of running a real shop minus payfoll and cleaning up the bathrooms.
But aside from car collecting, there's the actual part where you can race the cars you have; and here’s where things get spicy. You can build racing platforms right inside your store—because why just look at your cars when you can throw them down a track?
Races aren’t just for fun or bragging rights; they’re legit ways to earn extra cash. The skill cards (think Speed Boosts or Freeze Opponent) actually add strategy—so every race feels like it matters. At times, you may feel like you may have gotten a bit too competitive with my .
Now that it’s on Steam Early Access, you get multiplayer trading—so you can swap cars with friends or go head-to-head in trading battles. It adds a social twist that makes hunting for rare cars even more competitive (and yeah, just a bit more addictive). Nothing quite like outbidding your buddy for that one-of-a-kind hot rod.
A Few Bumps in the Road
Despite how cool the cars look, even is shiny exteriors have minor blemishes. The occasional bug, some same looking customers wandering around, or walking in place, and a couple missing features.
But honestly, with the gameplay being so addictive, these feel more like small potholes rather than total roadblocks.
The Final lap
If you love collection sims, crave unboxing surprises, or just want to relive those childhood days of racing tiny cars down the hallway (without the tripping hazard), Supercar Collection Simulator is absolutely worth a spin. It’s easy to jump into and tough to put down—I mean this literally as I've lost half an afternoon without even noticing.
Kiki Games has developed a game that caters to car collectors everywhere—and I’m fully on board for the ride. Just don’t come blaming me when you find yourself saying “just one more unboxing” at 2 a.m.
