Four More Iconic Games Make It to the Video Game Hall of Fame

Well deserved

The National Museum of Play has inducted four (4) iconic titles to its World Video Game Hall of Fame (WVGHF) for 2021. In random order, the titles include, Microsoft’s Flight Simulator, Where in World is Carmen Sandiego?, Starcraft, and Nintendo’s Animal Crossing beating out heavy-hitting contenders such as Call of Duty, Portal, and Guitar Hero.

We consider all games, but generally choose titles that have enjoyed popularity over a sustained period and have exerted influence on the video game industry or on popular culture and society in general.
